BANANA, TIWAI, SURFING, BUNCE & TASSO

Day 1

Your personal driver will pick you up at the Lungi International Airport and take you to your hotel in the center of Freetown with the speedboat. Settle into your hotel before exploring the surrounding area and dining in one of the many restaurants in the city.

Day 2

Freetown City Tour– After breakfast, accompanied by our guide, you head into Freetown to look around the vibrant city and make a sweep through its historical core. During this day, visit also the Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Tacugama, where more than 100 primates found heaven.

Day 3

Visit to Banana Island – After a short boat trip, enjoy the scenic paradise of the island. A welcome lunch will be offer to you. Swimming, scuba diving of kayaking (not included) are some of the many activities you can do in Banana Island. Go back to your hotel in Freetown.

Day 4

Visit to Bunce & Tasso Islands – This is is a must see for anyone interested in knowing about the history of the slave trade. Explore the substantial ruins on the island including the factory house, fortification, slave prison etc. A day visit) – Night in Freetown.

Day 5

Trip to Tiwai Island Wildlife Sanctuary – Weave through the multiple trails in the Tiwai forest to explore up to 50km of walking paths. If you move silently through the forest, you can glimpse some of the rarest & most colourful primates in the world, such as the Diana & Colobus monkeys – Overnight Stay on the Island.

Day 6

Bureh Beach for Surfing – Bureh Beach is located in the coastal village of the Freetown Peninsular where the seas and the forest meet. It’s known for its long standing history of Surfing. (Overnight Stay in Hotel )

Day 7

Say goodbye to Sierra Leone. Your guide will take you to the Airport (car and speedboat).
